• Prior to appointment please advise if gel polish is required to be removed when not originally applied by Love Beauty
• Ensure nails are clean
• Avoid applying hand, medical or steroid cream around the finger and fingernail area as this can cause a build-up of oil leading to gel separation
• Do not pick off previous gel, wait until appointment to have removed correctly and safely
• Do not pick around the nail, cuticle area or skin as this may cause discomfort during treatment
• Please be aware we are not medically trained to diagnose or treat any foot conditions such as verrucas or athletes foot, all conditions must be seen by a medical professional prior to treatment.

• Apply Nourish Cuticle Oil twice a day to enable hydration and conditioning of the natural nail plate. This will NOT cause any lifting to the gel polish
• Wear gloves when washing up, gardening or applying fake tan
• Avoid SPF products, tinted lotions and hair colouring on your nails as these can cause discolouration
• Book in for nail repair at £3 per nail
• Gel home removal kit available
• Do not pick, peel or bite nails, they are not indestructible
• Picking gel polish will result in damage to the natural nail and will affect further application and may result in gel lifting
• Use the pads of your fingers for opening doors and removing car seats
• Do not use nails to pick off labels
• Be careful not to stain nails with coloured products or food
• It is not advised to file the gel nail while wearing gel polish as this may disturb the adhesive bond
• Avoid exposure to harsh cleaning chemicals such as bleach, acetone and nail polish removers as this can break down the surface and bond causing lifting
• Take care of your gel polish

Our gel polish is applied using a base coat, 2-3 thin layers of polish colour followed by a thin layer of top coat (matte coating also available)

Gel polish is completely safe for the natural nail, however if removed incorrectly will cause damage and weakening of the nail

Gel polish can last up to 3 weeks if all aftercare advice is followed

Our gel enhancement system allows us to repair broken and damaged nails

Be assured of our high hygiene standards

All tools are disinfected, pedicure bowls disposed of after one use and the pedicure towels washed after each treatment
